Why we built the Hive network
Finding decent youth programs takes too long. You end up with ten browser tabs, half of which have outdated phone numbers, and no clear way to compare what actually matters — coaching quality, schedule fit, cost, and whether the program is right for your kid's age and level.
HiveSports is one part of the Hive network, which covers youth sports, camps, arts, homeschool, activities, and care programs across the US. We built it because we kept running into the same problem ourselves.
Who built this
We are parents. We have coached rec soccer, traveled for travel baseball, and sat through a lot of gym meets. We have also done the ultra-local parks department thing and had it be exactly right.
One of our kids is a sports kid. One cannot catch but has strong opinions about ceramics. Both are covered somewhere in the Hive network.
What we are building
A directory that gives families enough to make a decision without making them work for it. Real listings, current contact details, ratings where available, and enough context per program to know whether it is worth a follow-up call.
